I am a UX Designer with a background in entrepreneurship and anthropology. The common thread throughout all of my experiences has been the desire to effect change in the world and make life better for others. At the age of 18 I founded an international summer camp and began my journey in to the Start-Up industry. My desire was to help the under resourced community where I grew up gain access to education and career mentorship. I transformed a frustration I was experiencing into something beautiful by taking action to test possible solutions I had imagined. In the 9 years in which I operated the camp I honed my ability to lead collaborative teams, complete projects within budget constraints, design and validate ideas with a mindset towards design thinking. I want to continue to be a part of moving the world forward with clear attention to the ways innovation affects the day to day lives of all who use what we create. I’m inspired daily by what I see happening in the innovation economy and I am so excited that UX design allows me to contribute my unique perspective to this space.
